Anthony Moody

Attorney Moody was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained an MBA from Robert Morris University and received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. On an Ambassadorial Scholarship, he also obtained an LLM in Commercial Law from the Univerity of Hong Kong. Before beginning a law career, Attorney Moody applied the skills he learned while pursuing his MBA in the healthcare industry working for ManorCare. This assignment was followed by positions with Price Waterhouse Coopers and Deloitte & Touche Consulting Firms. His 10 year membership in Rotary and volunteer work with both the Make a Wish Foundation and Neighborhood Legal Services demonstrates his commitment to give back to his community.

Having an MBA and a law degree gives him the ability to analyze financial data when evaluating business contracts, tax strategies, divorce or separation property distribution. Mr. Moody is a founding partner with Moody Law Offices, PC and assisted thousands of clients with their financial, family, criminal and injury difficulties. Although bankruptcy is one of the firm's primary practice areas, Mr. Moody is mainly responsible for overseeing the family and criminal divisions of the firm, handling all types of criminal cases and spending most of his time in the family court assisting clients with divorce, custody and support (both child and spousal) issues.

Attorney McElrath was also born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton. Prior to co- founding Moody Law Offices, PC, he served as a Law Clerk for the firm of Skilken & Repogle and as a Legal Software Tester with Legal Research Company, Lexis-Nexis. He serves his community by volunteering with the WTAE Project Bundle-up and often volunteers his time with Neighborhood Legal Services, for which he and his colleagues received an award from the bar association.

Attorney McElrath heads the firm's bankruptcy division and has been instrumental in developing a system to assist thousands of clients with their financial difficulties, advising them of their options and often taking the legal steps necessary to get them the fresh start that bankruptcy offers. He handles all types of debtor-side bankruptcies, including Ch. 7 and Ch. 13 (for individuals) and Ch. 11 (for businesses).
